Red cabbage

Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg Red cabbage
  • 2 dl Wijn. rood
  • 1 dl Port. rode
  • 0,5 dl Frambozenazijn
  • 2 pieces Kaneelstokje
  • 2 pieces Laurierblaadjes
  • 1 pinch ground mace
  • 3 pieces Appels
  • 1 pieces Ui

Instructions
 

  • Add the red cabbage in a pan, together with the onion rings, apples (cut in cubes), bay leaves, cinnamon sticks, raspberry vinegar, red wine and red port. Cover the pan with the lid until the cabbage is cooked and stewed well. Then, allow to boil down a little while longer.
