Stewed leek

  • 4 pcs Prei thin leek
  • 30 g Boter or oil
  • 3 tblsp water
  • Zout
  • Peper
  • 1 tblsp Olijfolie


  • Clean the leek and cut off the white piece. Leave very. Use the cut for a broth. Heat the butter, water and olive oil in a pan. Put the leeks in it. Cut a piece of parchment paper as a lid and place on the leeks so that no moisture can escape and the leek stays moist at the top. Let it cook very gently for an hour. Turn the leek occasionally. After the yarn the outside can be tough, remove it. You can dry it and possibly make it into a crispy in the oven.
