Apple rolls

  • 200 g Raisins Sultana
  • 1 kg Golden delicious
  • 300 g Walnoten
  • 1 pcs Citroen
  • 500 g Suiker
  • 1 glass anijslikeur
  • Kaneelpoeder
  • 30 g cacao
  • 500 g Bloem
  • 3 pcs Eieren
  • Olijfolie


  • Soak the raisins in lukewarm water. Peel the apples and cut into 5 mm cubes. Put apple cubes, raisins, grated lemon zest, lemon juice, sugar, liqueur, cinnamon and cocoa in a bowl and mix well.
  • Heat the oven to 180ºC. Place the flower in a mountain on the work surface and make a well in the middle. Add the beaten eggs and a tablespoon of water. Mix first and then knead into a firm dough. Place the dough in the refrigerator for a while.
  • Roll the dough into a thin piece. Cut it into 6 strips and place part of the apple mixture on each bar. Roll the strips in 2 to 3 turns, press the edges well and place them in a baking pan greased with olive oil. Brush the top of the rollers with oil and fry them in half an hour.
