Apple rolls
Ingredients
- 200 g Raisins Sultana
- 1 kg Golden delicious
- 300 g Walnoten
- 1 pcs Citroen
- 500 g Suiker
- 1 glass anijslikeur
- Kaneelpoeder
- 30 g cacao
- 500 g Bloem
- 3 pcs Eieren
- Olijfolie
Instructions
- Soak the raisins in lukewarm water. Peel the apples and cut into 5 mm cubes. Put apple cubes, raisins, grated lemon zest, lemon juice, sugar, liqueur, cinnamon and cocoa in a bowl and mix well.
- Heat the oven to 180ºC. Place the flower in a mountain on the work surface and make a well in the middle. Add the beaten eggs and a tablespoon of water. Mix first and then knead into a firm dough. Place the dough in the refrigerator for a while.
- Roll the dough into a thin piece. Cut it into 6 strips and place part of the apple mixture on each bar. Roll the strips in 2 to 3 turns, press the edges well and place them in a baking pan greased with olive oil. Brush the top of the rollers with oil and fry them in half an hour.
